Norton Rose Became Third Biggest Canadian Law Firm

Norton Rose became the third biggest law firm in Canada in terms of number of lawyers. And there is no stopping for the law firm. The law company seems in full integration mode. With more than 2900 lawyers, the Norton Rose Group is now one of the top five international legal practices by number of lawyers with 43 offices throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Central Asia. The law firm has recently joined hands with Macleod Dixon to increase resources in energy, mining and commodities.
In Canada alone, the law firm has close to 700 lawyers and agents. It has offices in Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Quebec. The law firm has expanded into two important new markets - Venezuela and Colombia. With 50 lawyers, its Caracas office is one of the largest legal practices in Venezuela and is top-ranked for energy, dispute resolution and employment and labor.
